Launched in 2014, the Alive – “Lissa Ayesh” project was created to encourage donations made in the name of loved ones, allowing their legacy to continue through meaningful acts of giving. The initiative has delivered clean water to thousands of people across Egypt and Africa.
As narrated from Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him):
“O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died; may I give charity on her behalf?” He said: “Yes.”
He asked: “Which charity is best?”
He replied: “Providing water.”
You can now donate to establish a water project in your name or in the name of someone you love as a form of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah).
